| i agree with Marta. there are so many cute little shops in that area or try Hongdae (the way to that lil playground park that is popular-you know where i mean? you go lil up hill and you have cute shops there also). | having someone you can speak your own language with can be really great! i know i wish i had a norwegian friend in tokyo sometimes, just to say all the things i can’t properly say in other languages… but yesterday i realized the girl sitting next to me in one of my classes was swedish – and a fellow scandinavian of any sort is close enough to get myself understood! besides, i can practice my swedish with her, and use the word ‘fika’. all langauges need a word like that!

| i agree, but it's more of a lifestyle than just a diet. there are a lot of weird cult-like raw fosoidts out there but there are also many good hearted people that you can befriend. the more you get into it, the less expensive it gets (once you get over dehydrating, packaged superfoods, gourmet restaurants and get into growing your own foods, participating in community supported agriculture, farmers markets, food foraging) and it seems less time-consuming because it just becomes a part of you. |
